Team Plan Group will be bringing to life a 360,000 sq. ft. facility that is unlike anything the Greater Toronto Area has seen. The Humber Cultural Hub has been designed to be an epicentre of creativivity, both on stage and behind the scenes. 

For students, industry and the community alike, the building will be filled with professional-grade multimedia projection and post-production facilities, music labs, 3D animation spaces and more that will help them bring their creative ideas alive. Then, when students and the community are ready to put on their show, they can do so in one of two performance halls (600 and 150 seat capacities), and both will be equipped with biometric monitoring and projection mapping technologies.

For this project Plan Group is working alongside our partners Humber College, EllisDon, DSAI Architects, and Smith & Andersen, using an Integrated Project Delivery model (IPD). The IPD method takes a team-focused approach, where architects, technical consultants, the general contractor and key subcontractors like Plan Group, work together early on to ensure the end result is exactly what the client ordered.

Construction is on schedule to be complete in the fall of 2024, and we can’t wait to see this impressive creative space. Congratulations team!
