Last week we announced our new corporate partnership with ANIDA, a local not-for-profit group dedicated to creating opportunities for those in need in our local community.  We’ve planted a vegetable garden to help supply ANIDA’s food bank with fresh veggies, but we knew we could more as we wait for the vegetables to grow.  

ANIDA’s food bank has been helping even more families during this pandemic, and right now they’re looking to restock their shelves.  

To help, beginning June 22 until July 3 we are hosting a food and goods drive at 2740 Steeles.  

For the next 2 weeks, a donations box will be set up in the reception area to accept non-perishable donations.    Before being sent to ANIDA, the goods will be sanitized, so please give generously.

ANIDA gives to more than 393 households in the area, so to make sure our donation helps as many families as possible, Plan Group will match all of our donations, pound for pound, dollar for dollar.

Our food and goods drive is looking to collect:

• Dried pasta, beans, and rice
• Canned goods: beans, soups, vegetables, pasta sauce
• Canned meat/tuna
• Cooking oil and condiments
• Jams and peanut butter
• Shelf-stable milk products
• Crackers, cereal, oatmeal
• Diapers (size 3, 4, 5)
• Feminine hygiene products
• Children’s snacks
• Laundry pods

We will also be accepting financial donations to purchase produce like onions, potatoes, carrots, and cucumbers.
