We are delighted to announce that the RCMP ‘E’ Division Headquarters has been awarded the “Best Operational Social Infrastructure Project in the Americas 2020” by P3 Bulletin.
The state-of-the-art campus located in British Columbia was the first federal design, build, finance and maintain (DBFM) project in western Canada and combined 26 separate locations from the Vancouver area into a new, highly secure campus of over 1,000,000ft2. Under the stewardship of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) the facility was completed in 2012 (built by BBI) has been operated and maintained by Bouygues Energies and Services ever since.
The project has demonstrated an innovative approach to service delivery with exemplary customer service at its heart. The judges praised the project’s significant contribution to improvements in effectiveness and efficiency and considered it to be a prime example for others to follow.
We are delighted that the RCMP ‘E’ Division Headquarters project has been recognized as this year’s recipient and the award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of teams and our partners.
Bouygues provides site-wide facilities services for this project, including Hard FM (Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, Electrical Systems, Plumbing Systems, Fire Detection & Suppression Systems, Elevator & Lifting Systems, Door Systems, Generator, Life Safety Systems, Building Envelope, Integrated Pest Management, Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance), Soft FM (Housekeeping, Food Services, Parking Management, Retail and Catering), Energy Management and Help Desk services. As a PPP project, Bouygues E&S is responsible for the cost and risk associated with the Lifecycle rehabilitation of the entire campus, throughout the 25 year term. The services are delivered by a multi-disciplinary, directly employed, site-based team of 87 staff.
Now in its seventh year, the P3 Awards is now firmly established as the biggest and most prestigious networking event in the industry calendar, bringing together over 400 key decision-makers from the public and private sectors to recognize and reward the best in P3s throughout the Americas. Judged by the most respected names in the industry, winning a P3 Award is regarded as the very highest accolade.
