October 25, 2021
Earlier this month, the Plan Group Energy team wrapped up their second annual Thanksgiving Food Drive with a donation of more than 432 lbs of non-perishables to Kincardine’s food bank.
With the number of people that rely on food banks tripling over the course of the last ten years, the Community Engagement Committee at Plan Group Energy launched this important annual campaign to promote food security in the Kincardine region.
On October 7, 2021, four Plan Group employees delivered enough food to fill the back of an SUV to the Kincardine Food Bank, this year’s choice recipient. The food bank does not receive any federal, provincial, or regional government funding, and is run solely by volunteers, so this donation will go a long way to support food security in the community.
Plan Group Energy is honoured to actively support the local community through their partnership with the Kincardine Food Bank. A special thank you goes out to Plan Group’s Andy Kalisch, who donated a $100 Sobey’s gift card and over 100 lbs. of food to the food drive.
Great Work Team!
